What to Expect When Changing Smokes To Vaping
Quitting analog cigarettes and switching to an e-cig can bring a few things with it. Most of the time any symptoms you might experience are mild, nothing to be worried about and they will disappear in time. If they don’t, or they are something that feels drastically bad you should always go see a doctor. But in most cases this is not needed. Things like the so called “quit zits” are common and happen to many people when quitting smoking. Lot of smokers experience some zit-related problems when they are quitting.
One thing I had when I changed to an e-cig was that my skin got a bit irritated. I was itching a lot and got really worried if the e-cigarette was a mistake. Then one day this just disappeared and I haven’t had any problems since.
At first you may also cough a lot and have to blow your nose all the time etc. as your nose and lungs clear out the years of crap and abuse.
Some people even really feel like crap the first couple of days. Some get light headed, some have an upset stomach. I had some light headedness too but it wasn’t major and I think it was most due to the fact that I needed to adjust the strength of my e juice and the amount of vaping I did.
The thing is, mostly these symptoms are harmless and nothing to worry about, so don’t get too jumpy, but if the symptoms are too much to handle and won’t go away, it is strongly suggested to stop using the e-cigarette and go see a doctor first.
All my symptoms went away fast and vaping really changed my life. And it was worth all the minor problems I had at first with my irritated skin. So don’t let it get you down. Happy vaping!
