Difference Between PG and VG

VG or PG? What does that even mean?

E-liquids come in various mixtures but in general the ingredients are pretty much the same in every one. Just the amounts of them vary. Those main ingredients are nicotine, propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG) and flavorings. It’s mostly up to your own opinion whether to choose a PG or VG liquid. However, some people are allergic to  propylene glycol and that’s when a veggie liquid is an obvious choice.

PG liquids in general have a better throat hit that makes vaping feel more like smoking an analog cigarette, but VG liquids produce much better vapor. Vegetable clycerin also adds some sweetness in the taste of your liquid. When using VG it is recommended that you take an extra good care of your atomizer, as the thickness of vegetable glycerin may cause the atomizer to get clogged easier than the much thinner propylene glycol.

If you’re not sure where to start, you can buy a blend. Many of those are available too and they are popular. So you can start with a 50/50 and then move more to the direction that better serves your needs.

You will find the one you love eventually.
